The Disposable Pelican-type Grasping Forceps are designed for endoscopic retrieval of foreign bodies when wide opening and extended reach are required. The elongated pelican jaws provide easier access to difficult areas and enable secure holding of larger or smooth objects that may be challenging to capture with other forceps.
Clinical applications:
- gastroscopy and colonoscopy — removal of tablets, food remnants, or foreign bodies from the GI tract;
- bronchoscopy — retrieval of foreign objects from the airways;
- veterinary medicine — foreign body removal in dogs, cats, and other small animals.
