Disposable papillotome from Alton Medical is a special tool for endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) that are used for controlled dissection of the sphincter of Oddi and ampulla of Vater during papillotomy or sphincterotomy. It has a smooth body for safe insertion through the working channel of the endoscope and a curved design that provides optimal tension and stable orientation of the string for precise dissection. The Papillotome is available in two-channel (dual-lumen) and three-channel (triple-lumen) versions, allowing the instrument to be adapted to the access technique and manipulation.
