The Disposable Basket Without Tip (Nitinol) is used during endoscopic procedures for the removal of foreign bodies and stones. The tipless atraumatic design reduces the risk of mucosal injury, while the nitinol construction provides flexibility and secure grasping.
Clinical applications:
- in gastroscopy and colonoscopy – retrieval of bones, tablets, food bolus, or foreign bodies from the gastrointestinal tract;
- in bronchoscopy – removal of small foreign bodies from the trachea and bronchi;
- in urology – extraction of stones from the ureters and urinary bladder;
- in veterinary practice – endoscopic retrieval of foreign bodies in animals.
Working diameters: Ø 1.0–2.4 mm, length up to 2300 mm.
