The Disposable Spirality Basket (Nitinol) is designed for endoscopic retrieval of foreign bodies and stones in curved and difficult anatomical sites of the gastrointestinal, biliary, and respiratory tracts. Its spiral design ensures secure grasping of rounded or slippery objects and minimizes the risk of slippage during removal.
Clinical applications:
- gastroscopy and colonoscopy – removal of bones, tablets, or foreign bodies from the GI tract;
- bronchoscopy – extraction of small foreign objects from the bronchi;
- choledochoscopy – retrieval of stones from bile ducts;
- urology – stone removal from ureters and bladder;
- veterinary medicine – endoscopic foreign body removal in animals.
